In THE PSYCHIC LAST RESPONDER SERIES, “The Medium” meets “Six Feet Under”…
When mortician Perrie Spock discovers the body of a young woman dumped in the driveway of her funeral home, she begins to learn secrets only the dead can tell.
A seasoned mortician who considers herself scientific, Perrie begins to receive messages from the dead woman. She consults with her Aunt Azalea, an intuitive healer of Romani/Gypsy descent, who confirms that Perrie has inherited the family gift of psychic power. Perrie is in denial, but becomes a believer when she performs telekinesis at the Romani Red Apple Festival Parade.
Determined to find who killed the mystery woman, Perrie teams up with her old classmate, Sheriff Reg Woolaroc, who nicknamed her “Mortuary Perrie” in high school. It’s the first homicide on Reg’s watch, so he is eager for any help he can get. When Reg allows Perrie’s psychic intuition to guide his investigation, he begins to uncover clues that point to more than one killer in the quaint town of Vardo, Oklahoma.
